# tiun

> tiun is the backend for SaaS and AI companies. It unifies authentication, payments, customer database, and analytics into a single platform, replacing the need to stitch together separate single-point tools. tiun also acts as Merchant of Record, handling tax compliance, chargebacks, and payouts. Advanced event and session tracking logs every login, purchase, and product interaction at the profile level. One queryable Data API, built on a consistent model and ready to plug into your stack.
- **AI analytics** — One system for the entire team (Business, Engineering, Product, Marketing). Query revenue trends, cohorts, engagement, and pricing signals in plain language. No SQL or data team required.
- **Self-service portal** — End users can manage plans (upgrade, downgrade, cancel), access invoice history, and receive transactional emails for confirmations, password resets, and purchases.
- **Merchant of Record** — tiun processes payments, handles tax and VAT compliance, chargebacks, and disputes, and pays out monthly with full accounting reports. Supports cards and alternative payment methods in EUR, CHF, and USD.

## Pricing

tiun charges a 0.7% billing fee plus 2.9% + 0.30¢ transaction fee, for an all-in rate of 3.6% + 0.30¢. This is positioned as more affordable than comparable Merchant of Record providers, which typically charge 4.5% + 0.40¢ or 5% + 0.50¢ all-in. Full details at https://tiun.io/pricing.
